Hades II’s First Anniversary Brings a Noclip Documentary and Full Concert Video
The concert film comes from a sold-out June show at London's Royal Festival Hall, while Supergiant plans to offer the Ballads of the Underworld album for purchase and free streaming.
Hades II’s first anniversary comes with more than a thank-you from Supergiant Games. The studio announced a multi-part Noclip documentary, released a full concert video, added new merchandise, and confirmed Steam Machine verification alongside a featured place for Hades II in Valve’s Steam Frame reveal in its Steam anniversary announcement.
Hades II reached v1.0 on September 25, 2025, after more than a year in Early Access. The anniversary update looks back at the sequel’s development while adding new ways for fans to experience its music and world.
Developing Hell II will follow the making of Hades II
Noclip will document the creation of Hades II in a new multi-part series called Developing Hell II. Noclip previously covered the original Hades in the Developing Hell series, giving the sequel’s documentary a clear connection to the first game.

Ballads of the Underworld gets a full concert video
Ballads of the Underworld began as a one-time orchestral concert in June at London’s sold-out Royal Festival Hall. The show featured music from both Hades games, and the complete concert video is now available.
Supergiant also plans to make the Ballads of the Underworld album available for purchase and free streaming wherever its music is offered.
Anniversary merchandise and hardware notes
A new Princess of the Underworld T-shirt is now available through Fangamer. The design features Melinoë with Lim and Oros, the sister blades.
Hades II was also one of the featured titles in Valve’s Steam Frame reveal. The announcement presents the game running on a theater-sized display through the VR headset, while Supergiant confirmed that Hades II is verified for Valve’s Steam Machine.
