Pokémon GO’s October GO Pass Will Put Kyogre Alongside the Returning Lucky Trinket

Running from October 6 to November 3, the pass will offer a Kyogre encounter with a chance to be Shiny, Gift and Incense bonuses, Egg-hatching boosts, and a Deluxe track with the returning Lucky Trinket.

Pokémon GO’s October GO Pass will put Kyogre alongside the returning Lucky Trinket, giving the upcoming track a clear water-themed centerpiece and a familiar item to chase. The official Pokémon GO announcement confirms the pairing.

Reveal artwork carries the Twilight Trails branding and places Kyogre beside the Lucky Trinket, making the two headline features easy to spot. Kyogre leads the Pokémon side of the pass, while the Trinket’s return gives Trainers another reason to check the Deluxe track. October’s pass will also be the second GO Pass of the Twilight Trails season.

October GO Pass dates and progression

GO Pass: October will begin Tuesday, October 6, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Trainers can earn GO Points by completing Pass Tasks and other activities, then rank up until Tuesday, November 3, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Rewards earned through the pass must be claimed by Thursday, November 5, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

From Saturday, October 31, at 12:00 a.m. through Sunday, November 1, at 11:59 p.m. local time, the daily GO Point limit will disappear. That weekend gives players a chance to make a late push before progression ends.

Free GO Pass milestone bonuses

Trainers will receive the free pass automatically when it begins. Its rewards include a Kyogre encounter, Rare Candy XL, a Premium Battle Pass, a Lucky Egg, and other items. A Shiny Kyogre encounter will also be possible, while account bonuses unlock at four ranks.

Rank 1: One extra Candy from trading Pokémon. Trainers at level 31 or higher will also receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading.
Rank 25: The ability to open up to 40 Gifts per day, receive up to 125 Gifts from PokéStops and Gym Photo Discs, and hold 10 additional Gifts in the Item Bag.
Rank 50: Double the duration of Daily Adventure Incense.
Rank 75: Increased Stardust and XP from hatching Eggs.

Gift-focused players get the biggest early expansion at Rank 25, while regular Incense use and Egg hatching become more rewarding at the later ranks.

GO Pass Deluxe rewards and Web Store extras

GO Pass Deluxe will cost US$7.99, while GO Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks will cost US$9.99 and automatically provide enough GO Points to reach Rank 11. Trainers can upgrade at any point during the pass and still claim rewards from ranks they unlocked earlier on both tracks. The official announcement lists the same upgrade options and their additional rewards.

GO Pass Deluxe adds the returning Lucky Trinket, one Super Incubator, and more Pokémon encounters. The Lucky Trinket is the paid track’s top reward, and the Deluxe pass will also be available through the Pokémon GO Web Store. Purchases made through the Web Store will activate when the October GO Pass begins.

The Web Store will offer three purchase options with extra supplies. GO Pass Deluxe: October includes 10 Ultra Balls, five Max Revives, one Premium Battle Pass, and five Max Potions. GO Pass Deluxe: October + 10 Ranks includes 10 Ultra Balls, five Max Revives, two Premium Battle Passes, and five Max Potions. The GO Pass Deluxe: October Ultra Box includes 20 Ultra Balls, 10 Max Revives, five Premium Battle Passes, and 10 Max Potions.

How Deluxe improves the Rank 25 bonuses

GO Pass Deluxe raises the Rank 25 Gift bonuses to higher limits. Deluxe Trainers can open up to 50 Gifts per day, receive up to 150 Gifts from PokéStops and Gym Photo Discs, and hold 20 additional Gifts in the Item Bag.

How the Lucky Trinket works

As a one-time-use item, the Lucky Trinket lets a Trainer choose a Great Friend and instantly become Lucky Friends, even before reaching Best Friends status. It cannot be used on a Trainer who is already a Lucky Friend.

After using the item, the next trade between those Lucky Friends will turn both Pokémon into Lucky Pokémon. The Lucky Friend status clears after that trade, and using a Lucky Trinket does not change the distance required to complete the trade. The Lucky Trinket earned from GO Pass: October will expire Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time, regardless of when it enters the Item Bag.

Trainers can also disable permission for others to use their Lucky Trinkets on them through the Settings menu.
