Fortnite’s PAC-MAN Crossover Brings Mecha Ghosts and Cosmetics to Override
Mecha Ghosts and Blinky are available in Override now, while the PAC-MAN Sidekick bundle and arcade-themed items are in the Item Shop through September 25.
Fortnite’s PAC-MAN crossover is now live in Override with Mecha Ghost Mini Bosses to fight, Blinky as a Sprite companion, themed islands, and a PAC-MAN Sidekick bundle in the Item Shop. The gameplay content is available now, while the Item Shop collection is scheduled to remain available through September 25.
Bandai Namco announced the crossover in a September 17 press release. The new content brings PAC-MAN into the season through gameplay encounters, collection content, and cosmetics rather than limiting the collaboration to an outfit.
What PAC-MAN adds to Fortnite Override
Mecha Ghost Mini Bosses and Sprites will remain available until October 31. Blinky joins the Sprite collection as a companion, and players can enlist the interactive PAC-MAN Sidekick during matches. The Sidekick is invincible, runs beside the player’s character, and includes its own emote along with arcade music jingles and sound effects.
PAC-MAN’s arrival follows the earlier clue at Wonkeeland, where the character’s intro music began playing ahead of the season’s launch. That discovery was covered in the earlier Pac-Man clue from August.
PAC-MAN items are now in the Item Shop
The PAC-MAN Sidekick bundle is now available in the Item Shop, with the collection’s listed window running from September 19 through September 25. Alongside the PAC-MAN Sidekick, the lineup includes PAC-MAN Back Bling that cycles from Cherry to Orange to Galaxian when players score eliminations, plus the PAC-MAN Gloves Pickaxe, Kicks footwear, and more arcade-themed items.
