Conan Exiles’ September Hotfix Fixes Crashes and Adds Armor Stats

Conan Exiles received a September hotfix focused on crash issues tied to the 2.2.0 patch, unwanted server password prompts, cooked mod assets, and new stat modifiers for five armor sets. Funcom published the details on September 17 in its September Steam announcement. The hotfix follows the September 15 Conan Exiles Enhanced update, which moved Conan Exiles to Unreal Engine 5.8.2 and Iris networking while adding new graphics settings and rotating Bazaar bundles.

The armor changes cover the Vendhyan Mystic, Vendhyan Courtley Exile, Vendhyan Caravan Trader, Giant-king Scout, and Giant-king Sentinel sets. Their new bonuses include warm and cold insulation, strength or agility weapon damage, and bonus follower damage across the light, medium, and heavy equipment tiers.

On the technical side, the hotfix fixes several server crash issues and stops the game from asking for a password when joining servers after a player has created a password-protected co-op game. It also fixes base-game asset overrides that failed to load correctly from cooked mods.

The update follows July Hotfix 2.0.2, which focused on Cyclopean Halls loot, boss spawning, and gemstone weapon colors. The September notes also identify a color-preview issue affecting metal parts from the Giant-king Vassal Sentinel set.

    • 5 bonus follower damage
  • Vendhyan Caravan Trader set(Heavy) now has
    • 3 warm insulation
    • 3 cold insulation
    • 3 str weapon damage
  • Giant-king Scout set(Medium) now has
    • 2 warm insulation
    • 2 cold insulation
    • 2 bonus follower damage
    • 2 agi weapon damage
  • Giant-king Sentinel set(Heavy) now has
    • 3 warm insulation
    • 3 cold insulation
    • 2 bonus follower damage
    • 2 str weapon damage
• Fixed several server crash issues.
• Fixed asking for a password when joining servers if you’ve previously created a coop game with a password.
• Fixed base-game asset overrides failing to load properly from cooked mods.
• Metal parts from the Giant-king Vassal Sentinel set do not change color in the crafting bench preview when dyeing.
