Fire is coming to Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance. Capcom revealed that the Elder Dragon Teostra will appear in the upcoming expansion during Capcom Spotlight at TGS 2026, as detailed in the company’s Steam announcement. Before this reveal, Capcom had scheduled the announced Capcom Spotlight program as a roughly 40-minute TGS program featuring Ascendance alongside Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, and Street Fighter 6.
Teostra will join the expansion’s growing Elder Dragon roster alongside Lao-Shan Lung and Gundoraja, giving hunters another major monster to prepare for when Ascendance arrives in 2027.
