Capcom Spotlight will showcase Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance on September 16
The roughly 40-minute program will also feature Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, and Street Fighter 6.
Capcom Spotlight | TGS 2026 will feature Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance when the online presentation streams on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 14:00 UTC. Capcom announced the scheduled program in a Steam announcement, which says the presentation will share the latest information on upcoming Capcom games. Capcom previously revealed Ascendance’s story, setting, and incoming monsters in a September 3 trailer, with details available in September 3 trailer details.
The stream is expected to run for approximately 40 minutes, although Capcom warned that the schedule may change without notice. The event URL has not been announced yet, but the program will be hosted on CapcomChannel.
What Capcom will show
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance will appear alongside Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, and Street Fighter 6. Capcom’s Tokyo Game Show 2026 site is also available with information about the company’s wider event plans.
The presentation follows the September 3 trailer that introduced Ascendance’s time skip, Lao-Shan Lung, the Skybound Eyrie, and the Boost Bracer. Capcom has not yet said which part of the expansion will receive the most attention during the 40-minute stream.
With the event scheduled for the day after Capcom’s current Ascendance weapon preview concludes, hunters will not have to wait long for another official look at the expansion. The stream will begin at 14:00 UTC on September 16.
