PAYDAY 2 has revealed Under The Hammer, an auction-themed heist set long before the events of the White House job. Bain needs the crew to secure an item connected to a lost fortune, and Sidetrack Games outlined the pack in its Steam announcement.
The Under the Hammer Heist pack adds more than the central job. Its rewards and equipment include the Karussell Revolving Shotgun, the Last Call hammer melee weapon, and the Comedy and Tragedy masks. The auction setting also gives the heist a fitting visual hook, with players called on to raise their paddles and make their bids.
Anyone can also earn the Vintage Sight without buying the DLC. Completing the BFD Junior achievement unlocks the sight regardless of whether the player owns the pack.

PAYDAY 2 Update 248 Patch Notes
Update 248 is referenced alongside the heist announcement with a separate changelog, but the individual patch entries are not reproduced in the announcement. The confirmed gameplay additions are the Under the Hammer Heist, its new weapons and masks, and the free Vintage Sight reward.
