Hunt: Showdown 1896 Opens Pre-orders for the Bound By Blood Necklace and Corruption’s Cup

Hunt: Showdown 1896 players can now pre-order 2 new pieces of Blood Testament-themed merchandise, including the Bound By Blood Necklace and Corruption’s Cup. Both items are available through the Crytek Gear store, with the announcement also posted in a Steam announcement. The reveal follows the August 24 message repeating “born in blood, bound in blood”, which named neither item nor product category at the time.
The Bound By Blood Necklace is presented as a rare relic tied to Lynch’s Blood Serum. Its story leaves room for a darker possibility, with rumors claiming that it can fill with the blood of fallen enemies. The necklace itself features a red centerpiece suspended from a metal chain.
Corruption’s Cup is a physical collection of both Dime Novels in one volume. The book is described as the sequel to Hayden Collins’ Bad as They Seem and includes original cover art by Ina Koos, giving the fictional literature from Hunt’s world a place outside the game.
Neither product has a release date or price provided in the announcement. Pre-orders are open now through Crytek’s store, so the necklace and book are aimed at different sides of Hunt’s audience, one offering an in-world relic and the other expanding the setting through its pulp fiction.
