Grand Theft Auto VI may give vehicle damage a more specific consequence than simply leaving a dent behind. An unverified gameplay clip appears to show a collision damaging a car’s side mirror and knocking it loose.

The visible impact sends sparks across the vehicle’s front corner as the crash unfolds. If the behavior remains in the finished game, exterior parts such as mirrors could become another way for players to see the cost of reckless driving rather than relying only on body damage.

Earlier alleged GTA VI footage showed vehicles taking visible damage during collisions, but this clip focuses on a specific part breaking away. It does not establish whether a damaged mirror affects visibility, changes handling, stays missing after the vehicle is repaired, or applies to every car.

Rockstar Games has not officially confirmed the mechanic in the material available here, so the clip should be treated as an unverified look at a possible feature. Even so, detachable side mirrors would add a small but convincing layer to the game’s crashes.
