F1 25’s v1.25 Update Will Add 2026 F2 Ahead of 7 Special Liveries
The patch also updates 2026 team visuals, changes wet-weather deployment rules, and improves career and wheel support.

F1 25’s v1.25 September update will add the complete 2026 F2 championship, while seven special liveries will become available on staggered dates for owners of the 2026 Season Pack or 2026 Season Edition.
EA SPORTS detailed the changes in its Steam announcement. The new F2 season includes its current drivers, teams, cars, and calendar, giving players another way to race through the 2026 season while four rounds remain in the real-world championship.
The F2 cars can be used in Grand Prix, Time Trial, multiplayer, split-screen, and LAN modes. They will also appear in Showroom, and players can take them around MADRING, the hybrid street and purpose-built circuit introduced with the 2026 content.
F1 25’s 2026 cars receive a visual refresh
The September Sports Update will bring eight teams closer to their latest real-world designs. Ferrari’s distinctive “Macarena” rear wing is one of the most visible additions, while updated liveries and sponsors will appear on the relevant 2026 cars after the update is installed.
Seven special liveries will be released across three September drops. Racing Bulls at Suzuka, Audi at Monaco, and Cadillac at Silverstone will be available from Sept. 9 through Oct. 14. Cadillac at Miami and McLaren at Monaco will arrive on Sept. 11, with Aston Martin at Monaco and Racing Bulls at Miami joining them on Sept. 16. All seven can be claimed for free through the in-game mailbox by owners of the 2026 Season Pack or Edition.
Beyond the new season content, v1.25 adjusts wet-weather Boost Mode and keeps Straight Mode and DRS active only when throttle input is above 90% in 2026 F1 cars. The patch also includes changes for career progression, steering wheels, force feedback, Simagic hardware, car models, and general stability.

The update’s largest changes add the 2026 F2 championship and bring the in-game F1 grid closer to its real-world counterpart. Career mode receives new recognition rewards for completing an F2 season, while wheel users get input, stability, and hardware support adjustments.
