Danil “donk” Kryshkovets sits at the top of the Esports World Cup 2026 individual honors after another overwhelming MVP-level performance. His run included a 1.50-plus rating, 1.32 kills per round won, and a 27.4% multi-kill rate, giving him his ninth MVP event at or above that rating mark.
The top EVP award went to Santino “try” Rigal, who helped Legacy reach third place through a difficult bracket. Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, Danil “molodoy” Golubenko, Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato, Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko, Yasin “xfl0ud” Koç, Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov, Bruno “latto” Rebelatto, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, and Nikita “tenzy” Kochenyuk completed the 11-player EVP group.
try Leads the EVP Standouts
Legacy’s run gave try the strongest case outside the champion’s lineup. He delivered against Natus Vincere, Falcons, and FURIA on the way to a 1.26 event rating, earning the first EVP of his career and the highest EVP placement of the tournament.
m0NESY produced the highest event rating among the players covered, reaching 1.56 across seven maps without falling below a 1.24 rating. Falcons moved past K27, Astralis, and The MongolZ before losing to Legacy in the quarterfinals, but m0NESY still posted a 1.35 rating in that series and finished well ahead of Nikola “NiKo” Kovač within his team.
FURIA had two players near the center of the discussion. molodoy claimed his fourth EVP of 2026 after posting 0.82 kills per round, 1.03 kills per round won, and five player-of-the-map performances. He also produced 25 frags against Aurora and 24 against G2, helping FURIA reach the top four.
KSCERATO offered a steadier version of the same threat, with seven standout maps and more than 1.00 kills per round won. His rating climbed to 1.26 when the low-intensity third-place decider was removed, and he posted strong overtime performances against 9z and Aurora.
FUT’s Finalists Earn Two Spots
FUT reached the grand final through a genuine team effort, but dem0n was the player who earned the highest EVP placement from that roster. He averaged a 1.15 rating across seven of the hardest maps in the team’s run, including strong performances in both the semifinal and final.
xfl0ud was another key part of FUT’s run. The new signing led the team in kills per round won at 0.97 and recorded five player-of-the-map awards. His 13-11 win over FURIA and 16-13 victory against MOUZ helped FUT reach the final, even though his form faded during the last three maps.
sh1ro’s path to an EVP was less straightforward. He opened with a 0.52 rating against JiJieHao, then recovered with strong showings throughout the rest of the tournament. His 1.73 rating against Legacy on Ancient and 24-frag overtime performance against FUT on Anubis helped him secure his fourth EVP of the year.
More Players Who Made the Cut
latto earned his third award of 2026 after carrying a difficult Legacy schedule. Eleven of his maps came against top-10 opponents and seven were against top-five teams, including a 1.87 rating against Falcons on Mirage and a 1.30 rating against Spirit.
ZywOo made the group after recording three maps above a 2.00 rating and five player-of-the-map performances. He still finished the event with a 1.34 rating despite Spirit eliminating his team in the quarterfinals, where he produced 25 frags on Nuke.
tenzy reached the round of 16 with Magic but built enough credit before the exit to earn the first EVP of his career. His best stretch included 36 kills against 9z on map one, 124 ADR during the first half of the Inferno decider, and 24 frags against FUT in the playoffs.
n1ssim and dziugss came close after strong performances in map wins, while flameZ finished just behind ZywOo with lower peaks. torzsi and xertioN also narrowly missed the group, and xKacpersky’s 1.42 rating for Ninjas in Pyjamas stood out despite the team’s early elimination.
The Esports World Cup All-Star Five
The All-Star lineup selected donk and Boris “magixx” Vorobiev as its clearest picks. The remaining roles required closer calls, particularly at AWPer and closer.
try received the AWPer spot ahead of m0NESY, molodoy, and sh1ro because of his role in Legacy’s deep run against difficult opponents. KSCERATO took the closer position over dem0n after posting better numbers in map wins, against top-10 teams, and in standout maps.
n1ssim edged dziugss for the anchor role with five standout maps compared with the Lithuanian player’s three. Together with magixx, donk, try, and KSCERATO, he completed the five-player selection from a tournament that gave several rising names their first major individual recognition.
