Nioh 3 Version 2.01 Patch Notes Cover Combat, Picture Scrolls, and Save Bugs
Team NINJA's notes address weapon skills, Hundred Demon Realms Picture Scrolls, multiplayer problems, and a Guardian Spirit save issue.

Nioh 3 Ver. 2.01 covers a wide range of issues that can disrupt combat, progression, and online play. The changes include fixes for weapon Martial Arts, Hundred Demon Realms Picture Scrolls, incorrect Guardian Spirit data, mission progression, item drops, Soul Cores, and multiplayer stability. Team NINJA published the full notes in its Steam announcement.
Combat adjustments make several hoko and shield attacks behave more consistently, while separate fixes address the ninja hoko and shield. The patch notes also revisit the Guardian Spirit problem tied to the earlier 2.00.01 and 2.00.02 updates. Ver. 2.00.02 was aimed at correcting affected Guardian Spirit data, as detailed in our coverage of that save issue, but Ver. 2.01 addresses cases where the problem remained after players continued playing.
Hundred Demon Realms Picture Scrolls receive their own group of corrections, including fixes for blocked entrances, missing combat starts in multiplayer, incorrect cursor placement, and invalid scroll values. General bug fixes also cover several missions, online targeting and synchronization, inventory behavior, collectibles, and keyboard-and-mouse controls.
