Modern Warfare 4 Beta Unlocks Run From Level 1 to Level 30, With 8 Rewards to Keep
Create a Class opens at Level 4, Weekend One was capped at Level 20, and Weekend Two will cover the remaining unlocks.

Every multiplayer match in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 awards XP toward your Player Level, also called Player Rank. That level controls when new weapons, equipment, Perks, Field Upgrades, Killstreaks, and cosmetic Beta Rewards become available. Activision’s player progression guide lays out the complete path from Level 1 through Level 30.
The biggest thing to remember is that gameplay unlocks are temporary. Your level and loadout progress will reset when the Beta ends, but the 8 cosmetic Beta Rewards you earn will remain attached to your Activision Account and will be available when Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23.
How Modern Warfare 4 Beta progression works
Players begin with Default Loadouts. Reaching Level 4 unlocks Create a Class, which lets you build fully custom loadouts instead of relying only on the preset options. Each new level unlocks something immediately, and you can track the next item from the Multiplayer lobby or the After Action Report after a match.
For the full track, open the main Multiplayer left Side Menu, choose Career Profile, then select Progression. The screen shows your current level, upcoming unlocks, and the items you have earned during the Beta.
Daily Challenges are another useful source of XP. Check them before deploying and look for objectives that can be completed in the same matches. You can also plan ahead around the next weapon, Perk, Equipment item, or Killstreak waiting on the progression screen.
Weekend One was capped at Level 20, and XP earned after reaching that limit did not carry into the next weekend. The Weekend Two schedule places the next progression window at 10:00 a.m. PT on August 28 through 10:00 a.m. PT on September 1, allowing players to continue toward Level 30.
