Borderlands 4’s Dead ECHOs Episode 6 Pulls the Conspiracy Threads Together

The latest chapter traces the DAHL, Vivian Proctor, and cyborg threads before teasing an interruption at the door.

Borderlands: Dead ECHOs reaches Episode 6 with its conspiracy board getting crowded fast. The latest chapter follows Watts and Junie as they trace the mystery through DAHL, rogue executive Vivian Proctor, and the cyborgs. What began as a shady ECHO-log side hustle is now tied to a much larger mess.

The episode takes a playful approach to the investigation, asking listeners to connect the clues and build their own “BIG BOARD” while the story piles on corporate secrets and cyborg complications. Then comes a sharp little cliffhanger: someone may be at the door.

Watts and Junie’s strange business keeps expanding

Gearbox’s first scripted narrative podcast is a dark comedy set in the chaotic Borderlands universe. Watts, a frustrated DAHL ECHO Operator, searches undeliverable logs for secrets he can sell to the highest bidder. Junie pulls him out of trouble, then nudges the small-time scheme toward a Robin Hood-style mission to help others.

That partnership brings heat from mercenaries, outlaws, and DAHL’s corporate hit squad, which is led by power-hungry executive Vivian Proctor. Episode 6 adds the cyborg thread to that pressure cooker and asks how all of these pieces fit together.

Earlier in the run, Watts and Junie faced an oxygen crisis in Dead ECHOs Episode 4. The new chapter turns from immediate survival toward the wider mystery around the pair, giving the ongoing story another layer without losing its darkly comic tone.

Episode 6 is part of the limited weekly series. It is available through Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, iHeart Radio, and Pandora.

A YouTube version is available as well.
