Fortnite’s Next Battle Pass Was Briefly Visible on Instagram
A deleted post from the official Fortnite account showed the Battle Pass screen two days before Chapter 7 Season 4: Override is scheduled to launch.
Fortnite’s next Battle Pass made a very brief appearance on Instagram on August 18, when the game’s official account posted an image and removed it almost immediately. A Reddit post preserving the deleted upload now gives players a quick look at what appeared on the screen.
The image appears to show the Battle Pass for Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. Sonic is presented as an instant unlock for players who pick up the pass, while the promotional artwork also features Grace Crowne, Geno, and Mali. Text indicates that the Battle Pass is available with Fortnite Crew, and a “1/2” marker suggests another page of the promotion exists, although it has not been shown. Since the Instagram upload disappeared so quickly, the image does not confirm the full reward lineup on its own.
Override is scheduled to launch on August 20
The timing lines up with Fortnite Override’s scheduled August 20, 2026 launch. The season will include eight Battle Pass skins, with Sonic and Sora among the crossover characters already identified. Other gaming-themed content is also planned for the island, but the deleted Instagram post offers only a small peek at the pass itself.
