Turtle Beach is turning one of Fortnite’s strangest pieces of lore into a purple Nintendo Switch 2 controller. The officially licensed Rematch Wireless RGB pad recreates Kevin the Cube with glowing runes, programmable controls, and a design that should stand out well beyond the Item Shop.
Kevin’s familiar purple color covers the controller’s shell, while rune-like markings spread across its front. The markings stay still when the pad is resting, then light up with a rainbow effect once it is picked up. Turtle Beach has included four lighting effects, giving owners a few ways to adjust the controller’s look.

The Rematch Wireless RGB controller will work with Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Turtle Beach’s product page lists it at $69.99, and the controller is scheduled to launch on October 8, 2026.
Buyers will also receive a Capoeira emote that can be claimed when the controller launches. It is a fitting extra for a Fortnite-themed accessory, especially since the pad’s biggest selling point is its visual identity rather than an attempt to replace Nintendo’s higher-end controller.
Compared with the Switch 2 Pro Controller, the Rematch line does not include features such as NFC reading or HD rumble. It does offer TMR thumbsticks, mappable back buttons, and a battery rated for up to 40 hours, which gives the Kevin the Cube model a practical foundation beneath its flashy exterior.
That combination makes the controller more than a decorative Fortnite tie-in. The purple shell and illuminated runes do most of the talking, but the back buttons, thumbsticks, and long battery life could make it a sensible alternative for Switch 2 players who want a more distinctive gamepad.
