An Escape from Tarkov PvE Run May Lose Progress After Several Map Transits

A solo player said inventory, BTR-delivered gear, and Woods raid kills failed to carry into a later Lighthouse raid.

A solo Escape from Tarkov player reported a PvE progression bug that can cause a run to lose saved progress after several map transits. The issue reportedly affected inventory, extracted gear, and raid kill records during a chain of transfers.

According to the Reddit report, the player traveled through Ground Zero, Streets, Interchange, Customs, Factory, Woods, and Lighthouse. After spawning into Lighthouse, their inventory had reverted to its state at the beginning of the Woods raid.

Transit progress reportedly stops saving during long PvE runs

Gear extracted through the BTR and the transit prompt also failed to reach the stash. Once the player left Lighthouse, the extraction screen did not show any of the kills earned during the Woods portion of the run.

The problem did not occur at one consistent point. The player said it had happened several times, with progress stopping after as few as three or four transits in some runs and after eight or nine in others. The report only covers solo play, so there is no information yet on whether groups are affected in the same way.

The player also provided their system details: an RTX 3080, 32GB of RAM, and an Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor. Those specifications do not identify the cause, but they give other players useful context when comparing similar reports.

For now, the issue remains an individual player report rather than a confirmed problem from Battlestate Games. Anyone attempting a long PvE transit chain may want to keep the possibility of a rollback in mind until more reports or an official response clarify what is happening.
