Escape from Tarkov players who felt Icebreaker was cutting raids too short got a bit of relief. Battlestate Games raised the map’s raid timer to 50 minutes after community feedback called for more time to loot, solve the map’s mysteries, and deal with Wedge.
On X, Battlestate design lead Sergei Domontovich said the timer now sits at 50 minutes for both PvP and PvE, and described the move as coming “by popular demand”.

That is a clear jump from the earlier 30-minute limit. On a map that pushes players through a ship, stacked encounters, and a boss fight, the extra 20 minutes should make the escape route far less punishing.
Icebreaker has already seen other tuning pass through Tarkov, including earlier raid-time changes in Escape from Tarkov, as Battlestate keeps adjusting the pace around its extraction shooter.
