Now that E3 2020 Is Cancelled, Microsoft Will Host Digital Xbox Event

Microsoft has just confirmed that a digital venue will be hosted to accommodate the gaming industry and recover whatever’s been lost with the departure of E3 2020. The concerns of the Coronavirus outbreak has pushed publishers, producers, and developers to act differently, but still, find a way to satisfy the gaming population across the globe.

Speaking of the gaming industry, there’s nothing else to carve in there, except to align the fact that multiple projects developers have worked on in the past couple of days, months, even years, are going to be entirely missed by the public. To avoid that path, Microsoft has decided to set a new scenario in which they present the upcoming projects on our little screens. That is, hosting a digital venue in which they’ll most likely offer the catalog that was scheduled to be showcased at this year’s E3.

This was announced by Phil Spencer shortly after the cancellation announcement by E3 2020. Below you can find the official tweet:

It seems that until authorities find a cure to this virus, we (gamers) are most likely to have everything served digitally.

My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
