Phantom Blade Zero will cost $59.99 for its Standard Edition, putting the upcoming action game one cent below the $60 mark. The Deluxe Edition will be priced at $69.99. The game is scheduled to launch on October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Genki shared the breakdown in an August 12 post, confirming that players will have two editions to choose from when the game becomes available.
Pre-order bonuses are available in both editions
Pre-ordering either edition unlocks the Treasure Basin accessory and Legacy outfit early. Treasure Basin increases the amount of Remnant Dust earned from drops by 10 percent.
Neither bonus is permanently locked behind pre-ordering. Players can also obtain both through normal in-game progression after launch.
Pre-orders opened on August 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. PT. They are available through the PlayStation Store for PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store for PC. In most other regions, pre-orders became available on August 12.
Deluxe Edition adds extras for $10 more
Both editions include the full game, while the Deluxe Edition adds the Wulin Legend and Blood-Steel Form outfits, a digital artbook, and the official soundtrack. That makes the upgraded version exactly $10 more than the base release.
The two outfits and digital extras can also be obtained through in-game progression, so the Deluxe Edition provides immediate access rather than exclusive access. With $100 game prices increasingly part of the conversation, Phantom Blade Zero’s entry price stands out. The Deluxe Edition remains below that mark as well, though the additional content will depend on how much value players place on its cosmetic items and bonus materials.
Donnie Yen helped shape Phantom Blade Zero’s combat
Phantom Blade Zero leans into quicker martial-arts action rather than the slower, deliberate rhythm often associated with traditional Soulslike games. Fluid parries and elaborate choreography are central to the combat shown so far.
Martial arts star Donnie Yen provided his voice and likeness for Mó Yuan, served as a creative consultant, and helped craft and motion-capture the game’s kung-fu combat choreography.
Phantom Blade Zero’s next showcase is scheduled for August 17
The pricing news arrives ahead of the August 17 State of Play. The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. PT, run for nearly 20 minutes, and focus on the game’s combat systems, character builds, and dark wuxia setting.
A pre-order trailer also offers more gameplay and story footage for anyone deciding whether the lower-than-$60 Standard Edition belongs on their shopping list.
