Phantom Blade Zero generated an estimated $223 million across Steam and PS5 in its first five days, according to Alinea Analytics’ estimate. Its regional breakdown puts revenue outside China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan at $123 million, or 55%, across Steam and PlayStation. These are revenue estimates, not a platform-by-platform copy count.

The regional mix changed as the game neared release. China’s estimated share of lifetime revenue stood at about 68% in August and 65% on Oct. 25, then fell to 45% by Nov. 2. Over that span, the U.S. share rose from 10% to 18%, while other markets grew from 25% to 38%. Those are shares of revenue, so China’s smaller portion does not by itself mean its revenue fell.
When Steam preorders opened in mid-August, China accounted for nearly 70% of daily revenue, and its share stayed near 68% through the month. After the Aug. 18 State of Play, estimated daily Steam revenue rose from $72,000 to $146,000 in the U.S. and from $237,000 to $892,000 in China. Revenue from other regions also more than doubled, but China’s larger increase kept its share near 68%.
Phantom Blade Zero is only a hit because of China, right?
Wrong, according to @alineaanalytics estimates.

U.S. Steam revenue rose after reviews arrived
The strongest late increase in the U.S. followed the review embargo lifting on Oct. 26. Estimated daily Steam revenue climbed from $106,000 on Oct. 25 to $230,000 on Oct. 26, $463,000 on Oct. 27, and $899,000 on Oct. 28. Alinea Analytics associates the rise with positive reviews and word of mouth.
On the Oct. 29 launch day, the U.S. and other markets combined generated more Steam revenue than China for the first time during the preorder period. Alinea also places Phantom Blade Zero among the top 20 new 2026 games by revenue across Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation even when revenue from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan is excluded.
The revenue estimates add regional context to the game’s early unit sales. S-Game announced on Nov. 2 that Phantom Blade Zero had sold more than 4 million copies across all platforms within 72 hours of its Oct. 29 launch. That milestone counts copies across platforms, while Alinea’s five-day estimate covers revenue from Steam and PS5.
