War Thunder Bans 3,471 Accounts in Its August Fair Play Report
Gaijin also issued 98 temporary bans for collusion and 278 week-long or longer bans for teamkilling and griefing.

War Thunder has banned 3,471 accounts since the July Fair Play update, with bot use and cheat software accounting for the violations. Gaijin Entertainment shared the numbers in its August Fair Play announcement, which also covers collusion, teamkilling, griefing, and account security.
War Thunder’s August ban totals
The 3,471 accounts violated paragraph 3.2.3 of the EULA through automated gameplay, including bots, or the use of cheat software.
Another 98 accounts received temporary bans under paragraph 3.2.4. Gaijin said those penalties covered collusion with the opposing team, such as repeatedly capturing zones together or gaining rewards from mutual damage without any intention of fighting.
Intentional teamkilling and griefing led to bans lasting at least a week for 278 accounts. Ten of those bans were permanent.
Permanent bans and account security advice
Gaijin will publish the full list of permanently banned players, which will remain available for two weeks after the announcement is published.
Players who want to report suspicious behavior or learn how War Thunder’s anti-cheat system works can use the game’s anti-cheat wiki. Gaijin also recommends using a strong password and enabling two-step authentication through its profile security settings.
Available authentication methods include email, SMS, and TOTP through Gaijin Pass or Google Authenticator. The studio also advises players to protect the email account linked to their Gaijin account, avoid prohibited client modifications, and never share their account information.
