PUBG’s August 3-9 Sweep Banned 65,453 Accounts

The weekly notice also recorded 28,416 banned devices and 60,233 affected accounts.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS banned 65,453 accounts during its investigation period from August 3 through August 9, according to the game’s weekly bans notice. The enforcement action covered cheating, team killing, teaming, and abusive conduct.

Cheating accounted for the largest portion of the total, with 55,906 accounts banned. PUBG also recorded 5,492 team-killing bans, 3,617 bans for abusing, and 438 bans for teaming.

The notice also counted 28,416 banned devices and 60,233 affected accounts during the same period. The account-ban total was 3,561 higher than the 61,892 accounts recorded in the July 27-August 2 review covered in our previous weekly bans report.

PUBG’s permanent-ban list and account safety reminders

Permanently banned accounts appear in the full permanent-ban list. PUBG says the in-game nicknames in the attached list have their first three characters replaced with asterisks.

Players who encounter illegal software or other misconduct should use the in-game reporting tools first. For additional help, PUBG directs players to PUBG Support. The notice also advises players to protect their accounts with Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator, with setup instructions available through the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator guide.
