World of Warcraft Midnight Season 1 Will End in Stages: Your August 11/12 Checklist
Competitive PvP closes at 10:00 p.m. the night before regional maintenance, while Mythic+, raid achievements, and limited-time activities remain open until the servers go offline.
World of Warcraft: Midnight Season 1 is entering its final days, but its activities do not all share the same deadline. Competitive PvP will close at 10:00 p.m. the night before maintenance, while Mythic+, raid achievements, and several limited-time activities will remain available until maintenance begins on August 11 in NA and August 12 in EU.
After the servers return, Midnight Season 2 will technically begin in a pre-season state. The full Season 2 launch is scheduled for August 18/19, so that later date is not the final opportunity to finish Season 1 rewards.
Keep the two season deadlines straight

Spend Conquest before the PvP cutoff
Seasonal PvP titles, achievements, rankings, and sets all use the earlier deadline. Anyone still chasing a rating milestone should finish that push before 10:00 p.m. on the night before maintenance in their region.
Conquest also deserves immediate attention. The currency will not transfer into Season 2, so any remaining balance should go toward unfinished Conquest set pieces before the cutoff. Honor and Conquest sets will later be purchasable with Marks of Honor, but that option will not arrive until The Last Titan.
Use the final Mythic+ hours wisely
Mythic+ will remain open longer than competitive PvP, lasting until maintenance begins. For players in NA, August 10 is the last full day to push; EU players have August 11 before their regional downtime.
Final-percentile rewards will be determined by a character’s position when maintenance starts. Check the current rating, focus on any nearby seasonal milestone, and do not assume the August 18/19 Season 2 launch gives another chance to improve a Season 1 result.
Check the Timelost Saddle redemption window
Timelost Saddle comes from the Midnight Keystone Myth: Season One achievement. Once earned, it can be exchanged with Lindormi in Silvermoon for either a past Mythic+ exclusive mount or a new mount.
The exact deadline is unclear. Lindormi’s mount offer and the Saddle’s availability could end with Season 1 this week or when Season 2 begins next week, so anyone who still needs the achievement or has an unused Saddle should handle it as soon as possible.
Finish raid achievements before the servers go down
Ahead of the Curve and Cutting Edge for The Dreamrift, The Voidspire, and March on Quel’Danas will remain obtainable until maintenance begins. Groups that are close to either achievement still have a final window, but the reward opportunity ends with the regional reset.

Use remaining currencies from limited-time activities
Decor Duels will be retired with Patch 12.1. Spend any remaining Illusionary Coins before maintenance on August 11/12. Some rewards will remain obtainable after the update by using Voidlight Marl, but the event itself will no longer be available.
The football-themed A Goalden Opportunity activity is another quick item to clear. Visit the practice field near Thalassian University, equip the Tabard of Participation, and score three goals with the Kickable Practice Ball. Completing the activity awards the Goal! achievement and its related Housing rewards.
Decide what to do with Undercoins and Dawncrests
Undercoins come from Delves, but their seasonal treatment has varied. Blizzard has reset them between some seasons and allowed them to carry over during others, so there is no firm guarantee for the transition into Season 2. Spending them before the patch is the safer choice, particularly for players who have completed Delver’s Journey and still need to purchase some of its vendor rewards. The Delve Headquarters in Silvermoon is the place to use the currency.
Players with the Enchanting profession can also give leftover Dawncrests a final use. They can be converted into Veteran Dawncrests, which can fund low-item-level crafts such as Courtly Wrists. Those crafted items return as epics and can be disenchanted into Dawn Crystals. The process is not especially profitable: 80 Veteran Dawncrests produce roughly 500–700 gold, but it is an option for crests that might otherwise be exposed to a reset or poor conversion rate.
There is currently no stated plan to reset Remnant of Anguish, Unalloyed Abundance, or Field Accolade when the new season begins. Those currencies can stay untouched for Season 2, while Timelost Saddle and Undercoins deserve more immediate attention.
Complete the remaining Nullaeus Delve achievements
Players who are still working through the Nullaeus achievements should finish them before maintenance. The relevant progress checks are:
- My Shady Nemesis
- Lighting the Dark
- Let Me Solo Him: Nullaeus
These achievements are tied to defeating Nullaeus and reward the Nullaeus Domaneye, the “the Ominous” title, and the Arcanovoid Construct mount.
Claim Great Vault rewards before the reset
Before logging out for the maintenance window, claim any available Great Vault rewards. It is a small final check, but leaving rewards unopened while Season 1 changes over would be an unnecessary way to end the season.
