Forza Horizon 5’s Final Cars & Coffee Week Offers a 1973 Volkswagen Thing

The off-road car costs 20 Festival Playlist points, while the Spring track also includes a 1982 Lancia 037 Stradale.

Forza Horizon 5 is in the final week of its Cars & Coffee series, and the Festival Playlist has a boxy off-road prize waiting for players. The 1973 Volkswagen Thing is available for 20 points on the Spring Rewards track through August 15, according to the game’s latest Steam announcement.

The Thing started life as a military vehicle, but its simple interior also makes it a fun blank canvas for custom builds. Its chunky shape should fit right in on the rougher routes around the Horizon Festival.

Cars & Coffee rewards

The final Cars & Coffee week also brings two series prizes and another Spring reward. Players can earn the following cars:

80 PTS: 2017 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Coupe
160 PTS: 2018 DeBerti Ford Mustang GT

The Spring Rewards track includes:

20 PTS: 1973 Volkswagen Thing
40 PTS: 1982 Lancia 037 Stradale

Cars & Coffee vehicles gathered at the Horizon Festival

Cars & Coffee also adds the Cars & Coffee Plinth, Cars & Coffee Mural, and Cars & Coffee Board props to EventLab. The Coffee Shop hosts a Drone Show at night, giving players another reason to stop by before the series ends.

The wider reward run also features the 1957 Ferrari 250 California, the 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, and several Wheelspins and credits.
