Fortnite’s Simpsons Reload Return Could Happen on July 30
Epic Games will fully reveal the crossover on July 29, while leaks point to a 50-player Reload map with as many as 10 points of interest.

The Simpsons could return to Fortnite on July 30 with a new Reload update, bringing Springfield back to the battle royale experience. Epic Games will share the full crossover reveal on July 29.
The original collaboration gave players a Springfield-themed map filled with recognizable locations, characters, and jokes from the animated series. Epic has now confirmed that The Simpsons content will come back in a future Fortnite update, although the July 30 date remains based on current information rather than a fully confirmed launch schedule.
When will The Simpsons return to Fortnite Reload?
The Simpsons content is believed to return on July 30, 2026, alongside the next Fortnite Reload update. Epic’s full announcement is scheduled for July 29, so more details about the launch timing should arrive before the crossover goes live.
Fortnite’s official account teased the announcement with references to Bart, Lisa, and Krusty. The post also confirmed that the complete reveal would take place on July 29.

What could the Simpsons Reload update include?
Leaked information points to a return of the Springfield map, with some changes to its layout. The map reportedly had nine points of interest during the 2025 version, while the Reload version could include 10 POIs.
One possible addition is the Retirement Home, a location tied to characters such as Grandpa Simpson and Jasper. Leakers have also suggested that the extra location could have a connection to John Wick, though that claim has not been confirmed.
The POI information came from a post discussing names found in Fortnite’s files. It also noted that the Retirement Home may have been planned for the original season before being removed.
A leak about the Simpsons Reload map claims that Springfield will have 10 POIs instead of nine.

Another report claims that the Reload map will support 50 players. That would give the Simpsons-themed mode a larger match size than the standard Reload format, but Epic has not confirmed the figure yet.
A separate post about the map’s player count identifies 50 players as the expected limit.
