Apex Legends Fixes the Mythic Alternator Text Bug, Except on Switch 2

Apex Legends received a small fix on July 21, 2026, targeting the mirrored text that appeared on Skippy’s Mythic Alternator skin. The issue has been corrected across all platforms except Switch 2, where the team is still working on a solution.

The fix addresses the same visual problem previously listed as a known issue in an earlier Apex Legends update. Today’s Steam update confirms that Switch 2 players will need to wait for a separate resolution.

This update fixes the Mythic Alternator’s mirrored text issue on nearly every platform. Switch 2 remains the exception, with work continuing on that version of the bug.

✅FIXED: The mirrored text on Skippy’s mythic Alternator skin has been fixed on all platforms except the Switch 2. The team will continue working to resolve this issue for Switch 2 users.
