Dune: Awakening Hotfix Targets Stutters and Unruly Vehicles
Version 1.4.10.3 also fixes several issues involving the Construction Tool, Suspensor Belt, and Convergence Landsraad Mission.

Dune: Awakening version 1.4.10.3 is being deployed as a hotfix on July 14, with the main performance change focused on shader compilation stutters. The update also addresses several gameplay bugs, including vehicle behavior and tool-related movement issues.
The hotfix requires a client-side download. Players who do not see it automatically should restart the Steam client. Funcom said servers will be coming back up shortly in its official Steam announcement.
The patch follows the recent 1.4.10 updates, which have included Landsraad missions, storm visibility changes, and more work aimed at reducing stutters. Version 1.4.10.3 keeps that performance work going while cleaning up a handful of odd interactions around vehicles and construction tools.
Dune: Awakening 1.4.10.3 Patch Notes
The largest change improves PSO caching coverage, which should reduce shader compilation stutters during gameplay. The fixes also cover the Static Compactor in the Convergence Landsraad Mission, unexpected vehicle and Carrier Ornithopter actions, and sprinting and Suspensor Belt behavior when the Construction Tool is unholstered.
