War Thunder gets an official Discord space for players to squad up

Gaijin said the server will be run by the community team and will occasionally include drop-ins from developers.

Gaijin announced in a Steam news post today that War Thunder now has an official Discord server for players who want the latest updates, a place to talk, and an easier way to find people to play with.

The server is being run by the community team, which will spend time in chat and share bits of information along the way. Gaijin also said developers will drop in from time to time, so the space is meant to feel closer to the people behind the game instead of a faceless announcement board.

The layout is simple and practical. Channels such as WT General, Off-Topic, Find Players, and Find A Squadron give the server a clear place for general talk and squad hunting, which should make it easier for players to meet up without digging through a maze of channels.

Gaijin said the Discord is meant to stay relaxed, so players can share praise, criticism, or just normal community chatter. The studio also noted that the server is still new and will grow over time with more channels if the community needs them. Players who want to join can use the official Discord invite.
