Escape from Tarkov gets a cleanup patch while the Expansion Hub waits its turn
Patch 1.0.6.0 adds task search by name, objective, location, and trader, while Battlestate Games says the Expansion Hub and TarCoins will stay offline for now.

Patch 1.0.6.0 for Escape from Tarkov arrived as a support-focused update for what Battlestate Games has planned next. The studio said the patch includes technical changes needed for the upcoming Expansion Hub, but the hub will not open right after installation, and TarCoins will not be converted to player accounts yet. A separate date for the Expansion Hub will be announced later.
The biggest quality-of-life change is a new task search tool on the side task and operational task screens. Players can now look up tasks by name, objective, location, or trader, which should make sorting through Tarkov’s quest list a little less painful. The rest of the patch is a mix of fixes across weapon behavior, audio, UI, and one very specific grenade launcher animation issue.
