Meccha Chameleon update 2.4.0 adds Reverse Chicken Race

The patch also lets Hunters use the free camera during answer reveal and fixes a Mod map bug that could start a match at the wrong time.

Meccha Chameleon received update 2.4.0 on July 2, 2026, bringing a new mode and a pair of gameplay fixes.

Patch Notes

The main addition is Reverse Chicken Race, which shifts the focus toward tracking the hidden player and scoring points before anyone else does. The patch also gives Hunters more control during the answer reveal and fixes a Mod map problem tied to forced match starts.

  • ・Added a new mode: “Reverse Chicken Race”
Deduce the hidden player’s identity from their body paint, find them first, and rack up those points! If you’re the one hiding, earn points by staying unnoticed!
The player with the most points wins!
  • ・Allowed Hunters to use the free camera during the answer reveal.
  • ・Fixed an issue where forcing a Mod map to start would cause the game to launch mid-match.
