
Core Keeper used its June community update to focus on practical tips, soundtrack extras, and a few fan-made projects that show how active the game’s community still is.
June highlights
A short tip video posted on X reminded players that shovels, hoes, and even the roofing tool can have their area resized. The update also said the Core Keeper soundtrack now includes two unreleased concept tracks, “Mining Droplets” and “Nature Nuance,” both created by Fredrik Präntare before work began with Jonathan Geer. Players who already own the soundtrack or Explorer’s Edition can download the new files through their Steam library.

The post then turned to the community itself. It asked players to pick a favorite cattle color, with the original purple Moolin still getting the home-team nod, and it followed that with a Heart Berry taste poll on X that drew answers ranging from sweet and earthy to radish-like.
There was also a look back at an old notebook from the 2021 Open Alpha test, where community manager Bridie had written down feedback that helped shape the game. Another section compared early Caveling Merchant concept art with the newer Otherworldly Merchant, and the update noted that the first merchant still hangs out in the Forgotten Ruins about 270 tiles from the Core.
On the community creation side, the studio pointed to a tip video on X showing how the dresser can hide or swap armor looks. It also highlighted Parcew’s Quick Potion mod, which lets players bind potions and food to hotkeys, plus a base museum from casey_kc, an automated base tour from Dliflect, and a disco build from CozyBaseTours. The full base tour is available as a YouTube video, and the disco build clip is live as a YouTube Short.
