PlayStation used its June 28 EVO 2026 stage to add Blade, Loki and Deadpool to MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, finishing off the game’s fifth and final team, the Samurai Outriders. Ghost Rider was already part of that lineup, so the new reveal locks in the full group of dark heroes.
The new team also comes with a fresh stage: Asgard. PlayStation said the arena spans the Observatory, Bifrost Bridge, Throne Room, Treasure Vault and Yggdrasil, the World Tree, giving matches a very different backdrop from the earlier reveals.
Each new fighter brings a distinct style. Blade fights with Muramasa, guns and glaives, Loki leans on feints, counters and illusions, and Deadpool mixes firearms, grenades and swords with a toolkit that pulls from fighting-game history.
PlayStation also pointed players to a character guide trailer playlist that will keep adding breakdowns for the full roster. Those videos will cover normals, skills, super moves, ultimate abilities and assist types.
Looking ahead, the game will hold a global open beta on PS5 and PC from July 24-26 PT, with Blade available in the test. PlayStation said a PlayStation account will be required to take part.
