The week of August 3-9, 2026, will bring 10 new PS5 releases alongside three PlayStation Plus Essential games. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls and Beast of Reincarnation are the biggest names in the schedule, while Big Walk will also join the monthly PS Plus lineup on August 4.
The release calendar covers fighters, survival horror, management sims, puzzle games, cooperative adventures, and more. Big Walk is counted in both sections because it will launch on PS5 and enter PlayStation Plus Essential on the same day.
New PS5 Games Arriving August 3-9
- Beast of Reincarnation — August 4: Game Freak’s action RPG takes place in a ruined version of Japan. Emma, an outcast affected by a mysterious condition, travels with Koo, a blighted dog, in a story built around their partnership.
- Big Walk — August 4: House House’s cooperative adventure focuses on communication, teamwork, puzzles, and shared challenges.
- Kynseed — August 4: This life simulation adventure lets players raise a family, customise a farm, operate a business, craft items, and battle monsters.
- Mate’Morphosis — August 4: The chess-inspired puzzle game turns captured pieces into new forms. Players control one piece at a time and must adapt as they move through each board.
- Feudal Baron: King’s Lord — August 6: Players take charge of a small medieval barony and work to grow it from a handful of followers in tents into a thriving settlement.
- Grizzy and the Lemmings – Crazy Party — August 6: This party game features unpredictable minigames, surprise-filled boards, and tricks between friends. The goal is to collect as much Yummy as possible while causing chaos for Grizzy.
- Mai: Child of Ages – Storms of Time — August 6: The story continues after a floating factory suddenly appears.
- Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls — August 6: Arc System Works, PlayStation Studios, and Marvel Games are bringing a four-versus-four tag fighter starring legendary Marvel characters.
- Parkasaurus: Dinoluxe Edition — August 6: This dinosaur theme park management game asks players to design exhibits, research new options, hire staff, and keep mischievous dinosaurs from escaping.
- Yellowcreek Stories – The Cabin Watcher — August 6: A masked killer reacts to sound, light, and movement. There is no combat, so survival depends on staying hidden and making careful decisions.
PlayStation Plus Essential Games for August 4
Subscribers will receive three games on August 4. Big Walk is the PS5 day-one addition, while the other two titles cover a zombie action RPG and a psychological survival horror game.
- Big Walk — PS5: Groups of players can travel through a shared world, solve puzzles, and tackle challenges by communicating and working together.
- Dying Light 2 — PS5 and PS4: Set 20 years after the original game, this zombie action RPG follows Aiden Caldwell, a wandering Pilgrim searching for his sister Mia in Villedor, the last surviving city on Earth.
- Signalis — PS4: Players take the role of Elster, a technician Replika searching for her missing partner. The game combines puzzles, disturbing creatures, and cosmic horror in a retro-tech setting.
