GTA 6 pre-orders are live on June 25, 2026, and the free month of GTA+ bundled with the offer comes with a catch. Once the code is redeemed, the subscription will renew unless players switch auto-renew off first.
Rockstar’s pre-order package also includes the Vice City-inspired cosmetic bonus, while the Ultimate Edition extras sit at the center of the wider storefront push. The important part is that the GTA+ month is not triggered by the preorder itself. Rockstar sends an activation code by email, and the paid renewal begins only after that code is claimed.
The warning spread after a ResetEra thread drew attention to the fine print. If you plan to use the free month, check your subscription settings after redeeming it so you do not walk into an unwanted renewal.
