Exodus, the upcoming sci-fi space exploration game from Archetype Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast, is leaning hard into its time-dilation premise. The game will get an extended gameplay look right after the Future Games Show Summer Showcase on June 6, and a highlights trailer will follow in the PC Gaming Show on June 7.
The Future Games Show Summer Showcase airs Saturday, June 6 at 12 pm PT, 3 pm ET and 8 pm BST. The PC Gaming Show airs Sunday, June 7 at 12 pm PDT, 3 pm EDT and 8 pm BST.
In Exodus, players take on the role of the Traveller, who has to cross distant worlds and gather the Celestial Remnants. The game treats faster-than-light travel in a way that bends time around the crew, so hours for the Traveller can turn into years for the people left behind.
That setup should give the June showings plenty to work with, especially with the game’s third-person space-opera angle and Matthew McConaughey attached to the cast. Tell us what you think in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
