Marvel Rivals is heading into Season 8 with Cyclops and Devil Dinosaur confirmed for the roster, while Moon Girl also shows up in the new story setup. The season carries the title Sins of Alchemax, and the first trailer will arrive on Friday, May 15, 2026.
The official Marvel Rivals account posted on X that Season 8: Sins of Alchemax is “imminent” and described Alchemax Headquarters as shielded by a mysterious crimson Chronovium.

Season 8’s story setup
The trailer shows Cyclops tearing through robotic enforcers with optic blasts before spotting Moon Girl in the rubble. Things take a rough turn when he loses control and leaves a crater around the pair, and the clip ends with both of them being taken away.
Devil Dinosaur’s charm pendant then comes into play, which points toward Devil Dinosaur leading the opening stretch of Season 8. Cyclops, meanwhile, appears to be held back in the story until Season 8.5.
