Battlefield 6 is adding a ranked REDSEC playlist with Update 1.3.1.0
The May 12 patch also brings Battlefield Pro, a new Battle Pass layer, and a wider balance pass for vehicles and weapons.

Battlefield 6 Update 1.3.1.0 will go live on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, and it is bringing a new Battle Pass, Battlefield Pro, and a fresh ranked option for REDSEC.
The progression side adds Battlefield Pro, which is built to extend the Battle Pass with 25 Tier Skips, a 5% XP booster, six instant unlocks, special Assignments, extra Challenge rerolls, and more. Portal will also support 100 players.
REDSEC players are getting Ranked Battle Royale Quads as part of the same update, with a ladder that runs from Rookie to Master and beyond. That gives squads a new way to chase Rank and rewards when the patch lands.
For context, Battlefield 6’s 1.2.3.0 update added Operation Augur, the LTV, and a broader balance pass. This next patch keeps the focus on progression while also touching vehicles, weapons, and core gunplay.
Vehicle handling is getting a tune-up, too, since tank-type vehicles will no longer be immobilized by serious damage and ground vehicle boost bars will not drain when a boost is interrupted. Weapon recoil is being adjusted for different ranges, shotguns are getting new attachment options, the Magnifier is joining as a shared optic accessory, and the patch also fixes reloads, animations, reticles, and attachments.
