After Riven Tides’ cold Steam reception, attention around ARC Raiders has turned to what Embark Studios may have lined up next. A Pastebin post from a dataminer points to a new map called Frozen Trail, trading, clan tools, fresh events, a new ARC operation, and more, but none of it is confirmed.
What the datamine points to
The post says Frozen Trail would be the next map after Stella Montis, which would make it the first new battlefield since Embark added that area five months earlier. The dataminer also listed several points of interest for the map: Central Station, Factory, Loading Platform, Observatory, Railyard, and Village.
Map conditions showed up in the leak too. The names included Toxic Swamp, Acid Rain, Heat Wave, and The Queens, plus a separate condition that would leave extraction points locked down and needing repair before use.
Trading appeared in the data as well. One excerpt pointed to a shady SPERANZA PIAZZA where raiders could trade with each other, and the post described that system as still being built.
The same datamine also mentioned gadgets based on instruments, two weapons called Stanza and Malleus, and a new ARC Operation named Dead Reckoning. That operation would introduce a Frigate ARC large enough to move across the map and be boarded, with the leak tying it to the UFO-like craft seen during the Shrouded Sky update.
Clan support was listed too, with references to clan playstyles that could center on questing, PvP, PvE, or a mixed focus. The post is a useful look at what could be coming, but it is still just datamined material, so the final shape of these systems could change.
