Gray Zone Warfare’s Spearhead update has given MADFINGER Games a clear lift. The studio said more than 314,000 players had entered Lamang in the days after the 0.4 overhaul arrived, while peak concurrent users climbed past 43,000. The game also rose to fifth place on Steam’s best-seller chart during an ongoing sale.
The update has already become a turning point for the shooter, which has been getting fresh attention since the overhaul landed. For a wider look at how the patch changed the game’s momentum, see our earlier Gray Zone Warfare coverage.
MADFINGER shared the player figures in a social post dated April 7, 2026, where it said the first week of Spearhead had been a big one for the community. The same post said the update brought a peak daily active user count of 174,041.
