Gray Zone Warfare’s camo weapon unlocks are spread across Lamang

Each Range & Rifle magazine unlocks a specific camo gun, and several of the related magazines stay usable even when the base trader version is still locked.

Gray Zone Warfare’s Range & Rifle tasks are the fast lane to a few of the game’s camouflage weapon skins. Once you pick up the matching magazine, the weapon unlock lands right away, and the magazine reward itself stays available even if the normal trader version is still out of reach.

That matters because some of these rewards cut out a long grind. A Black Hawk M14, for example, opens 20-round box magazines from Banshee at level 1, even though the standard version is usually locked behind level 3 standing. The broader 0.4 weapon set also helped push the game’s arsenal forward, as laid out in our Spearhead update breakdown.

One thing to keep in mind before heading out is the reset rule. If you die while working on one of these quests, it moves back to the Failed section and you need to wait out a cooldown before trying again. If a task is still stuck there, give it about an hour and finish some other quests in the same area. A safer move is to wait until you are already close to the magazine before you accept the task.

Hunter’s Paradise

M14 (Black Hawk) is sold by Banshee, uses 20-round magazines, fires 7.62x51mm NATO, and costs $8.5k. The green camo version comes with a 16-inch barrel, a 20-round magazine, and a Specter DR sight. You can unlock it from the Weapon Storage room in Hunter’s Paradise, where the magazine sits on a bench next to the locker in the northwest corner. The room needs the Hunter’s Paradise Weapon Storage Key, which can spawn in the eastern offices or the southern restaurant, and it can also appear on enemies in the area.

Midnight Sapphire

SIG MCX (Ghost Nomad) is a Banshee weapon that uses 60-round magazines, fires .300 Blackout, and costs $13.2k. Its Range & Rifle magazine is on a table in the restaurant antechamber on the second floor of Midnight Sapphire. Go up the stairs from reception, turn right, and look left for the table surrounded by armchairs.

M700 (Gray Company) is also sold by Banshee, uses 10-round magazines, fires 7.62x51mm NATO, and costs $11.8k. The magazine sits on the roof where the LAF snipers hang out. Head up the service stairs, face south-southeast, walk to the guard rail, then look left for a small camping table with an ashtray and the magazine.

Ban Pa

AKMN (Jackal Company) is an Artisan unlock with 30-round magazines, 7.62x39mm ammo, and a price tag of $5.7k. It is the cheapest camo weapon on the list. You will find it in a hut northwest of LZ Oscar 2. The approach is risky because the trails leading in are booby-trapped, even though only a small group of pirates guards the area. The hut door is locked, but you can kick it open. The magazine is on the floor next to a sleeping bag.

Tiger Bay

MP7A2 (Sentinel Company) comes from Banshee, uses 40-round magazines, fires 4.6x30mm, and costs $6.4k. Its Range & Rifle magazine is in a camping area directly west of landing zone Juliett 4, next to COP Gladius. Approach from the south, clear the bandits, then look left for a covered building. The magazine is on the couch by the western wall.

SVD (Silent Watch) is an Artisan unlock with 20-round magazines, 7.62x54mmR ammo, and a price of $18.2k. The magazine is inside Tiger Bay Mall, on the southern half of the building in the eastern row of stores on the first floor. Enter from the western side, run across to the Lamtel sign, and go into the store on its left. Expect one to two LAF soldiers inside. Head behind the counter, take the door on the right, then turn left into the small office. The magazine is on a bookshelf beside the frame.

YBL-1

Mossberg 590 (Raven Team) is a Gunny unlock that uses 10-shell magazines, fires 12/70, and costs $6.5k. Head to landing zones Lima 2 or Mike 3, south of COP Titan, then follow the river south until you reach a small wooden bridge. Cross to the west side to find a small encampment. The magazine is in a hut due south of the bridge, sitting on a small wooden desk.

Fort Narith

AK-308 (Hunter Team) is sold by Vulture, uses 20-round magazines, fires 7.62x51mm NATO, and costs $17.8k. The magazine is in the brig, between the infirmary, the main entrance, and the HQ building. The safest route is to jump the corner gate at the northwestern end of the runway, then move to the road leading up to the target building. Expect fire from the armory bunker, usually with two soldiers by the truck. The brig normally has one soldier inside and two more by the tent outside. Once inside, turn left, keep left, and open the locked room. The magazine sits below the coffee machine to the left of the door.

DDM4 (Phantom Lance) is the only camouflaged AR-15 in the game. It is a Gunny unlock that uses 60-round magazines, fires 5.56x45mm NATO, and costs $17k. The blueprint sits on the second floor of the Alpha barracks, the southernmost barracks building opposite the infirmary. Expect up to five enemies inside, including three on the second floor, plus gunfire from other buildings. After you enter, go upstairs, turn left, and head to the end of the corridor. The magazine is on the desk by the door to room A206.

If you are hunting every camo unlock, the route matters almost as much as the loadout. Take your time, bring the right key where needed, and do not hand the quest over to a bad run at the wrong door. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
