Space Marine 2 details Patch 13, free voice pack changes, and an April community event
Focus Entertainment said Patch 13 will center on Siege mode, while the Chapter Voice Pack will become free starting in early April with refunds due by the end of the month.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 got a fresh March community update from Focus Entertainment on March 31, 2026, and it packed in a few different subjects at once. The studio confirmed that Patch 13 is in development, outlined what is coming next for the Chapter Voice Pack, and reminded players about an April community challenge.
First, the team said hotfixes 12.1 and 12.2 were already out earlier in March. Those updates brought stability work, fixes for some Techmarine perks, and balance buffs for the Sniper and Vanguard classes, among other changes. A 12.3 hotfix is also planned, with more stability improvements on the way.
Patch 13 is where the next bigger round of content is heading, and Siege mode is the main focus. Focus said the mode will get more purchasable items so players can lean into different strategies, while the difficulty curve is being reworked so sessions feel shorter and more intense. Playing Siege mode will also award accolades.
The patch will not stop there. Focus said it will also include a new PvE mission, more customization options for the Techmarine, three new Heroic weapon variants, a new weapon and equipment, more customization items, a new customization feature, and the Iron Hands Chapter Pack.
The roadmap is also being redone because the current one no longer matches the team’s plans. Focus said the updated roadmap will arrive in April. The other major topic was the Chapter Voice Pack. In a note from Game Director Dmitriy Grigorenko, the team said it heard player feedback and apologized for the DLC not meeting expectations. The pack was originally built around combat chatter in seven languages, but it did not cover the much larger pool of mission-specific dialogue in Operations.
Because of that, Focus said the Chapter Voice Pack will be free starting in early April. On Steam, owners will get a refund to their Steam wallet, while the DLC will be added directly to all game owners. Refunds will be processed automatically across platforms, and the studio said they should be completed by the end of April.
Focus also said it is working on improvements to the DLC’s current setup, including an option to stop missing level-specific voice lines from defaulting to Ultramarine characters. The voice pack is also being expanded to PvP. The March community event is called Staying on Schedule, and it will run until April 6, 2026. Players can unlock the Mark XI Hell’s Teeth Chainsword by completing five Operations as Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, or Bulwark before the deadline.
It is a busy stretch for Space Marine 2, with hotfixes landing, Patch 13 in the works, and a few changes that should matter to longtime players. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
