Xbox Sets Its Biggest Show for June, Followed Immediately by a Gears E-Day Direct
Microsoft scheduled the Xbox Games Showcase for June 7, 2026 at 10 a.m. PT and said the presentation will be followed directly by a Gears of War E-Day Direct.

Microsoft confirmed the Xbox Games Showcase will air on June 7, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific / 1:00 p.m. Eastern / 6:00 p.m. UK, and the showcase will be followed immediately by a Gears of War E-Day Direct, the company said on Xbox Wire.
Xbox Wire said the June broadcast will include early gameplay looks, updates from both first-party studios and third-party partners, and a deeper presentation dedicated to the new Gears title that explores its origin story and new systems. The showcase coincides with Xbox’s 25th anniversary, and the company plans to bring back Xbox FanFest for the event.
The livestream will be available on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook and will run with “over 40 languages,” plus American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and English Audio Descriptions to improve accessibility, according to the announcement.
This comes after a Partner Preview earlier in March that delivered news for several big releases, including Stalker 2, Dispatch, and Hades 2. Expect the June presentation to be the main Xbox showcase of the year, with the E-Day Direct serving as an extended deep dive into the Gears follow-up. Microsoft did not attach a detailed run time to the announcement, so viewers should check official Xbox channels on the day for exact scheduling and talent lineups.
