EXBO Team applied a server-side hotfix to STALCRAFT: X on February 9, 2026 targeting the Frost Troopers event. The update was rolled out without stopping game servers and adjusts team-mode mission flow plus the Popularity reward ceiling.
The change ends a team’s active mission when all squad members are eliminated in team mode. The update also increases the maximum amount of Popularity that can be earned in a single match to 12,000. Players must update and restart the game for the changes to take effect.

Hotfix [09.02.2026]
The following changes have been made to Frost Troopers event without stopping the game servers:
- • In team mode, if all squad members are eliminated, the mission now ends for that squad;
- • Increased the maximum amount of Popularity earned per match to 12 000.
The changes will take effect after updating and restarting the game.
