FURIA remains No. 1 in January CS2 Valve Regional Standings

FURIA kept its hold on the top slot in the Valve Regional Standings for January 2026, the list Valve published on January 5. The VRS matters because it directly decides invites for four major CS2 events happening over the next four months: IEM Kraków (January 28 to February 8), PGL Cluj-Napoca, ESL Pro League Season 23, and IEM Rio.

The update follows Fragadelphia’s Frag Miami 2 event, which NRG won. Because of that result and GamerLegion’s third-place finish, both teams earned invites to the first stage of IEM Kraków. Team Vitality, fresh off a StarLadder Budapest Major title, moved up to second in the standings, nudging Team Falcons down to third. FaZe Clan jumped into the top 10 after reaching the Budapest Grand Final, climbing ten places from December.

Team Spirit climbed to fourth in January’s list; background on their recent roster changes is available in a piece on Team Spirit roster changes.
