Escape from Tarkov 1.0 release date and global launch times

Escape from Tarkov is leaving beta after eight years and hitting version 1.0 on Saturday, November 15. The developer plans a simultaneous launch through the Battlestate client and on Steam, and the community is being given exact unlock times broken down by region.

Players who bought Tarkov during the beta should note the Steam release is a separate purchase if Valve features are desired. The Steam build will still require a Battlestate account to play. The Steam unlock time appears earlier by three hours than the time listed in Battlestate’s Discord, and the Discord time is being used for live server openings below.

Launch times

  • 3 am PST November 15, Los Angeles
  • 6 am EST November 15, New York
  • 11 am GMT November 15, London
  • 12 pm CET November 15, Berlin
  • 10 pm AEDT November 15, Sydney
  • 12 am NZDT November 16, Auckland

Tarkov TV broadcast times

A special Tarkov TV release broadcast begins at 12 am PST on November 15. That streamlines up with the earlier Steam timing and is scheduled to include Twitch drops on launch day. Broadcast times are listed here across time zones.

  • 12 am PST November 15, Los Angeles
  • 3 am EST November 15, New York
  • 8 am GMT November 15, London
  • 9 am CET November 15, Berlin
  • 7 pm AEDT November 15, Sydney
  • 9 pm NZDT November 15, Auckland

The broadcast will stream on Twitch, and the developer has posted details for the Twitch drops schedule.

Preloading and day one patch

Steam preloading is available now and the download sits at a little over 33 GB without launch day patches. Expect the launcher to apply additional updates when servers open, which is a common approach for games that use a third-party client alongside a Steam build.

Got thoughts on the launch or last-minute nerves, bring them to the comments, and follow the team on X, Bluesky, and YouTube for more live coverage and follow-up.
