Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is available for pre-order, but it isn’t leading the PS Store lists in the US or UK, and that matters because early chart positions can show which releases are getting the most consumer attention ahead of launch on 14th November.
Yikes, the Vault Edition, which includes Early Access to the open beta from 2nd October, is only sixth on the US pre-order charts right now, sitting behind versions of NBA 2K26, EA Sports FC 26, Battlefield 6, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
The cheaper Cross‑Gen bundle isn’t racing to the top either, and it’s being outsold in the charts by various versions of Borderlands 4, Gears of War Reloaded, and Ghost of Yotei, so the early picture is more crowded than usual. Who expected this?
Charlie Intel also highlighted the position on the PS Store, noting this is one of the first Call of Duty titles that didn’t top pre-order charts immediately after its reveal, and the original Charlie Intel post is linked in the sources.

Perception of the franchise is also part of the story. Some recent coverage describes public opinion as low, including criticism that guest characters like Beavis & Butthead don’t fit the tone, and Push Square examined that in What the hell has happened to Call of Duty? The series is kinda tired in some players’ eyes, and early pre-order lists reflect that mixed reaction.
