VALORANT’s New Twitch Feature ‘Shotcall’ Lets Fans Predict VCT Moments Live

Riot Games launches Shotcall, a Twitch extension for live VCT predictions and leaderboard bragging rights.

Riot Games has introduced Shotcall, a fresh Twitch feature that lets VALORANT fans test their VCT knowledge by predicting in-game moments live. It’s a neat way for viewers to flex their guessing skills while watching esports matches unfold.

If you’ve ever called out clutch plays or MVPs before they happened, Shotcall is designed just for you. This new tool allows fans to predict key moments from their favorite VALORANT teams and rack up points on a live leaderboard. Think of it as a mini-game running alongside the VCT broadcast on Twitch, but it’s not your usual boring yes/no stuff.

Shotcall throws fast-paced, timed scenarios at you, like guessing who’ll get first blood or which player will clutch under pressure. It rewards viewers who have the sharpest instincts, making the whole experience a bit more intense and interactive. Sounds fun, right? But guess what, it’s still in beta, so expect some hiccups during testing.

Riot plans to launch Shotcall initially on the official VCT Americas Twitch channels, with more leagues and languages to follow. If you want to get in early, beta sessions will run on Fridays: August 8, 15, 22, and 29. The limited rollout probably helps Riot gather feedback before expanding it to more matches and regions.

Accessing Shotcall is pretty straightforward. When the beta is live, tune into any of the three official VCT Americas Twitch channels and look for the red crystal ball icon in the top-left corner of the stream. Click it, sign in with your Riot account, and you’re good to go. Heads up: this is a desktop-only feature for now, so phones are out of luck.

Riot has confirmed a prize will be available during the four beta days, with promises of more rewards down the line. So if you know your VCT inside out, jumping in early might just pay off. Who doesn’t want some bragging rights?
