The game seems to mix classic zombie-shooter vibes with fresh twists on mission design and vehicle mechanics, which might just make it stand out from the usual fare.

Unlike typical PvE shooters like Left 4 Dead or Back 4 Blood, Toxic Commando will have missions tied to specific areas instead of just moving in a straight line from point A to point B. That means players will have to spend more time exploring and controlling zones, which could add some tactical depth.
Vehicles also play a significant role in the game. You’ll need to manage fuel carefully because the cars have fuel gauges that’ll run out if not refueled. Plus, you can upgrade your ride with turrets and other mods, including a horn that attracts more zombies. Yeah, that sounds wild and kind of risky!
The game will also feature character and weapon leveling, along with selectable difficulty levels to keep things interesting over multiple playthroughs.
