Xbox Series X users report of faulty Disc Drives

This week is most probably the most exciting one for all the gamers across the globe. Next-gen consoles are launching as pre-orders start to pour in so that fans can anticipate the beauty from the get-go. The Xbox Series X is already out, and with that number of games that are now enhanced and play much smoother on more powerful hardware. However, there’s a little problem that started swirling on social media.

It appears that the Xbox Series X is having a faulty disc drive, a unit that is supposed to read old Xbox video games discs, which are supported through backward compatibility.

It’s not only one user that reported this issue. Everyone that has this problem is currently seeking help from Microsoft, as they’re unsure if their new Xbox Series X’s disc drive is defective or not. Multiple others have reported the same issue:

Some people have suggested put their consoles horizontally or vertically and try to put the disc again. However, it seems that the console’s positioning doesn’t help either.
